Class Descriptions


Absession:
 This 25 minute class will focus on developing your "core" muscles, specifically abdominal and lower back muscles. Movements can be done on the floor

or while standing. Get in and get toned. You’ll have fun and before you know it you’ll be done!

 

 

All Spin Classes:  This class gets the riders moving focusing on endurance, strength and intervals on the bikes. Each class will guide you through diverse routines to keep you interested and motivated, All levels are welcome!

 

Boot Camp Classics/Sports Conditioning: Heart-pumping cardio drills to increase speed, agility and endurance along with full-body muscle conditioning from calisthenics – “functional movements.” Maybe some obstacle courses for fun and variety- Get ready to sweat!

 

Express Tone-Up: During this quick 30-minute workout, you will challenge your entire body to a series of muscle toning and sculpting exercises using user friendly barbells, free weights, and your own body weight!

 

HITT and Kickboxing: Take your workout to the next level! Incorporation high-intensity heart pumping moves, along with the dynamic training of Kettlbells. First come first serve, only 8 spots available per class! Get your “Fitness Passes” in time.

 

Self Defense (RAD): The Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive, women-only program course. Class will focus on awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training.

 

Self-Defense: This class, specifically designed for men, is similar to the RAD which is tailored for women. Self-defense is a program used to teach self-defense tactics for men and basic hands-on defense training.

 

Spinyoga: A 50/50 class structure of 30 minutes of Spin followed by 30 minutes of Yoga

 

Yoga/Sunrise Yoga: Relax, stretch and tone muscles in this fitness session designed to enhance your mental, physical and spiritual fitness. This ancient form of exercise reduces stress, increases flexibility, and improves circulation. All levels are welcome!

 

Yogalates (Morning Yogalates): Tone your whole body during this class using the techniques of both Yoga and Mat Science controlled movements, which will target every muscle. These exercises will help improve flexibility, strength, and body awareness, without necessarily building bulk.

 

Zumba: Our instructors will lead the class through Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a program that will blow you away. Interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning the cals. The goal is simple: Work out while having fun!

 

Barre Class: Most barre-based classes use a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements.
